Tables for The Great Hall of Peel Tower
“These tables look so at home in the Great Hall and provide a real focus for the room.”

Understanding the heraldry and history of the family and the hall was the real starting point for this commission and it is the place from where the form and materials are derived.

The English walnut used for the tables was sourced locally in County Durham and hand cut in our workshops. Combining the various materials into an harmonious design, uniting scale, form and patination was a challenge and an exciting process.
